About Südpol Hamburg
Südpol occupies an old building by the Bille canal in Hammerbrook and feels more like an electronic free space than a conventional nightclub. Its programme moves through techno and house into psytrance, psytechno, drum & bass and extended weekend formats. Residents, collectives and guest crews shape a venue where community, self-organisation and musical openness matter more than polish. By combining club nights, cultural events and long-form gatherings, Südpol has developed a distinct place in Hamburg nightlife away from the city’s usual going-out corridors.
