Ricardo Villalobos is a Chilean-born, Germany-raised DJ and producer and a defining figure in microhouse and minimal techno. His career began in Frankfurt's club scene during the 1990s before he became internationally known for long, exploratory DJ sets. Albums such as 'Alcachofa' and 'Thé au Harem d’Archimède', together with releases on Playhouse and Perlon, helped shape the development of stripped-back electronic club music. In 2007, he founded the Sei Es Drum label.
