High Hibiscus is the solo project of Kyiv-born producer and DJ Oleksandr Yarosevych, who has lived in Hamburg since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. His own music leans towards softer, melodic sounds, while his DJ sets range across techno, breakbeats and acid. He is a member of the Hamburg collective ER3ATZ, which organises solidarity events in support of Ukraine.
