About DJ Rob & MC Joe

DJ Rob & MC Joe pairs Rotterdam DJ Rob Janssen with MC Joe, whose real name is Ludie Smitshoek. Janssen helped shape early Dutch rave music as a resident at Rotterdam's Parkzicht club. Together they recorded “The Beat Is Flown”, a track from that formative era, and later “Back 2 Da Sound”. Their repertoire covers old-school rave and hardcore.
